  2. I never the pleasure to meet this remarqueble woman in person. About ten years ago I worked as a family supervisor and came across her first book and I immediately was intrigued by it. This was probably as the message she sent, was the way I wanted to look at the world, people and social work.

I have read and studied a lot of her work and from Steve de Shazer initially. Later on the power of this way of thinking and looking at the world stimulated me to study more and more about solution focused aproaches.

  4. Thanks Alan, Mark and Edwin!Edwin, I agree with the hard working part. She also had a great sense of humor. She once sent me an email in which she said: "You should be ashamed that you make a poor old lady work so hard."
